One cannot say when, how and on whom trouble may come in life. One such horrifying case has come to light in America, where a scorpion bit the private part of a man staying in a five star hotel. Due to this his married life was ruined. In such a situation, this unlucky man has filed a case against the hotel. The name of this person is Michael Farchi. Michael alleges that in December 2023, he was staying at the Venetian Resort Hotel in Las Vegas, America. Suddenly he felt pain in his private part, due to which he woke up from sleep. When he looked at the scorpion present there, he saw that it was continuously stinging his private part. In the case filed, Michael said that he “felt several additional pricks in the hand and waist area.”
According to the English website 8 News Now, 62-year-old Michael claimed that the luxury hotel Venetian Resort in Las Vegas failed in its duty to free the room from insects and pests. Farchi claims that he has suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and emotional trauma since the incident at the Palazzo Tower. Farchi’s wife has also alleged that her married life has also been affected due to the scorpion sting on the private part. At the same time, the lawyer says that in this case Farchi has alleged that there have been problems in physical relations due to the scorpion sting. It has been claimed in the lawsuit that it is the duty of the hotel to provide a clean, safe and hygienic room to any customer, which is free from insects, bedbugs, scorpions etc. But the hotel failed to do so.
Brian Virag, the lawyer in this case, said, “It doesn’t really matter how the scorpion got there. I think the hotel was already aware of the alleged poisonous, deadly scorpions.” Virag, also known as ‘My Bed Bug Lawyer’, further said, “The truth is that the scorpion was present there and the hotel people were also aware of this. As per our understanding, some construction work was going on at the time when this incident happened.” At the same time, when Farchi told the hotel staff in the medical incident report that a scorpion had bitten my private part, the employees started making fun of him.
According to the lawsuit filed, after the scorpion bite, he was taken to Summerlin Hospital, where he was given painkillers and treatment, only then he felt relief. He was also treated at UCLA Medical Center, where it was reportedly confirmed that Farchi had physical injuries and erection problems in his private part. Farchi told 8 News Now, “This incident has had a great impact on my family, my work, everything.” Therefore, he has approached the court so that he can be assessed compensation for the cost of future treatment, mental stress, pain and suffering, as well as loss of enjoyment of life and he can get justice.
